Washington/Oregon

I am happy to say that we loved Both states. We travelled down as far as Portland and then headed East along the Columbia River which constitutes the border. We found many places to park and many places to hike, a particular highlight was The Cape Horn Trail.

We crossed the Columbia River at the beautiful Bridge of the Gods.

We travelled around Mount Hood and found a super ski area car park with excellent views and excellent trails.

We dropped down as far as Mount Ashland, again parking up at the ski area for some good walking and cycling and random yoga centres all over town.

We then headed further South to Grant's Pass and a meet up with some old friends from the SRMN.

Thanks very much to Patti and Bill for feeding us, hosting us and wishing us well on our journey.
