We discovered that the SS Badger is the last surviving steamboat in the United States so thought it would be a great way to cross Lake Michigan. When we arrived and tried to book in we discovered that it would be 4 days before we could get a crossing.

Never mind Ludington is a very pleasant place to be struck for 4 days.

It has beaches, great parking, good food and plenty room for a few running repairs.

I decided to adjust my tracking and perform a wheel rotation on the truck. You know the saying ‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it’ 😀😀

Tuesday soon rolled around and we had a quiet but interesting crossing on the SS Badger.
