Changes - David Bowie 1972

Well, best laid plans and all that, unfortunately we were unable to get insurance for the truck in Canada. This forced us to re-think the shipping. Fortunately the ship we were supposed to be on sailed straight from Halifax to New York and then on to Baltimore. We booked the extended passage and began to rapidly change flights, hotels and dates in order to meet up with the truck in Baltimore.

We flew out to New York on the 12 June spending 5 days exploring the sights.

We then travelled down to Baltimore hoping to pick up the truck straightaway. Unfortunately shipping doesn't always keep to timetable and we ran into a holiday weekend (Juneteenth) so we ended up 6 days in Baltimore before being able to rescue OWT from the port.
