California, Redwoods and Highway1

Continuing our journey south and on strong advice from Patti we detoured through the California Redwoods. What a place, what a species they have a majesty that renders you speechless!

If you ever get chance to visit them you must!

Passing through Crescent City we headed down the 101 and picked up the 1 right at the top. A drive not to be missed from Leggate to Rockport. It throws you out onto a magnificent stretch of the Pacific Coast.

We stopped a few days in Bodega bay, cycling, walking and enjoying the seafood. You will find the name of everything here contains the word "birds" as Hitchcock made some film here 😀
